Northern Marine Manning Services are looking to recruit an immediately available Electrical Technicians for one of our client's offshore platforms.
Rotation - 2 weeks on 3 weeks off
A competitive salary is also offered.

- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on various electrical equipment
Profile requirements
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent in electrical discipline
- 1 to 10 years experience in O&G or industrial industries (1 to 5 for tech, 5 to 10 for skilled tech)
- Have a basic understanding of facilities/process (from well to export). Be knowledgeable of hydrocarbons behaviour and associated risks (explosion, asphyxia…).
- Be able to read and use drawings (single line and schematic diagrams), vendor documents, nameplate. Be knowledgeable of electrical symbols.
- Possess notions on cable sizing and voltage dropping
- Be aware of area classification, marking for hazardous area ATEX rules, and Ex explosion-proof materials.
